Hiring:

Bartender / Server Nonna's Kitchen in downtown Spearfish, South Dakota is looking for a talented, enthusiastic, and friendly bartender and server, or someone who simply wants to learn the art of preparing craft cocktails and serving in a restaurant space. We are a small crew and the ability to work well with others and integrate into our restaurant family is key. Our focus is on classic cocktails, quality service, and family friendly atmosphere.

Primary responsibilities would include:

Careful preparation of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for restaurant, bar, and lounge guests Friendly, personal, yet always professional, interaction with guests to include assessing guest needs and wishes, offering recommendations as appropriate on libation and drink options, taking orders, serving drinks and food, and ensuring a first-rate guest experience Ensuring compliance with all legal requirements related to the serving of alcoholic beverages Ensuring compliance with all appropriate safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards Serving food and taking orders for food and beverage.

Skill sets being sought:

Either a proven and superior track record as a bartender keen on honing their skills or a teachable and eager spirit intent on learning the craft Knowledge of mixology, garnishing, and presentation/serving is desirable (or a willingness to learn!) Superior communication skills and an enthusiastic and positive personality that desires to ensure guests experience an unrivaled cocktail experience Superior work ethic and organizational ability High standards of cleanliness and safety Libation and/or hospitality certifications, recognition, and awards are a plus

Hours:

Full and part time days and/or evenings, Wednesday to Sunday. Must be available weekends and days.

Compensation:
