As a vital support to our bartenders and service staff, you'll ensure the bar area is clean, well-stocked, and running smoothly. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute to a lively, welcoming atmosphere in our nightclub or event space. This paid position offers a dynamic environment where you can develop your skills in food service, hospitality, and customer interaction while supporting a fun and fast-paced setting. Duties Assist bartenders by restocking alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and glassware quickly and efficiently to keep the bar fully prepared for service Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning glasses, utensils, sinks, and counters to uphold health standards Buss tables and clear empty glasses or dishes from the bar and dining areas to ensure a tidy environment Support food preparation tasks such as assembling simple snacks or garnishes when needed for events or patrons Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to assist with cash handling and order processing when required Help with setup and breakdown of banquet or event spaces, ensuring all equipment and supplies are organized and ready for service Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest needs promptly Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments such as nightclubs, catering, or hotel settings is highly desirable Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for cash handling and order processing Strong cleaning skills to maintain sanitation standards in a busy setting Ability to handle food safely with proper food handling knowledge Excellent communication skills to interact positively with team members and guests Experience in bussing, serving, or supporting banquet events is a plus Knowledge of the food industry, including food preparation and kitchen experience preferred Prior barista experience or familiarity with beverage service is beneficial Ability to work flexible hours during evenings, weekends, or special events in a lively nightclub or event environment Join us as a Barback and be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering memorable experiences.
