Bar Manager / Head Distiller About Us Dam Whiskey Corp. is a brand-new craft micro distillery opening in the heart of Southside Chattanooga. We produce high-quality bourbon whiskey , moonshines , vodka , and a growing lineup of other spirits using traditional methods and local ingredients. Our modern, welcoming space features a full Main Bar for craft cocktails, a dedicated Sampling Bar for tastings and tours, and an event area for small private gatherings, tours, spirit education sessions, and special releases. We're building a destination where guests can enjoy exceptional spirits, learn about our process, and experience Southern hospitality with a Chattanooga twist. Position Overview We're hiring energetic, knowledgeable, and guest-focused Bartenders to join our opening team. You will work across both our Main Bar (craft cocktails and full service) and Sampling Bar (guided tastings and flights). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about whiskey and spirits, loves educating guests, and wants to help launch one of Chattanooga's newest distillery experiences.

Key Responsibilities Main Bar Service:

Craft and serve high-quality cocktails featuring our bourbons, moonshines, vodka, and other spirits. Deliver excellent full-service bar hospitality.

Sampling Bar & Tastings:

Pour and present guided tastings and spirit flights. Educate guests on our bourbon, moonshine, vodka, and other products — including tasting notes, production methods, and fun stories behind each spirit.

Tours & Events:

Support distillery tours, private events, corporate tastings, and special releases by pouring samples, answering questions, and creating memorable experiences.

Guest Experience:

Provide warm, engaging service that turns first-time visitors into regulars while proudly representing Dam Whiskey Corp.

Operations:

Handle POS transactions accurately, maintain bar cleanliness and organization, track inventory, and strictly follow all Tennessee ABC and health regulations.

Product Knowledge:

Continuously develop deep expertise in our bourbon whiskey, moonshines, vodka, and expanding portfolio.

Qualifications Required:

Valid Tennessee Bartender License (or ability to obtain before start date) 1-2+ years bartending experience (craft cocktail bar, distillery, or high-volume bar preferred) Solid knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and mixology Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for guest service Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Flexible availability, especially evenings, weekends, and event days

Preferred:
