Building on the success and foundation of Serrato's Steakhouse, Roots will deliver the same commitment to exceptional hospitality, high-quality ingredients, handcrafted cocktails, and thoughtfully curated wine selections. The menu will feature prime steaks, fresh pasta, fresh seafood, and Italian-inspired dishes prepared with seasonal ingredients, vibrant herbs, and balanced sauces to create a depth of flavor while maintaining elegance and simplicity on every plate. The beverage program will reflect this same standard, offering a curated wine list highlighting Italian and international selections, alongside classic and modern cocktails, premium spirits, and traditional Italian aperitifs and digestifs. The Cool Springs location will serve one of Middle Tennessee's most dynamic communities and will include a private dining space for up to 40 guests, ideal for special events, corporate gatherings, and celebrations. Position Overview Join our vibrant hospitality team as a dynamic and energetic Bartender! In this role, you will be the heartbeat of the bar, creating memorable experiences for guests through exceptional service, expertly crafted drinks, and a lively atmosphere. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will ensure every guest feels welcomed, valued, and eager to return. Whether working in a fine dining setting, nightclub, or banquet environment, you'll bring your passion for hospitality to life while mastering the art of serving with precision and flair. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options. Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards. Manage cash handling and POS transactions using Aloha POS to ensure accurate billing. Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment. Restock bar supplies regularly and coordinate with kitchen staff for food service when applicable. Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and adhere to all food handling regulations. Experience Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, banquet, or food service environments. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly preferred. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Experience in catering or banquet settings is a plus.
