JOB SUMMARY
Partee Golf combines TrackMan golf simulator bays with a full bar and a made to share food menu in Knoxville, TN. We're built for groups, friends, couples, birthdays, corporate outings, and golfers and non golfers alike, and every shift is about making sure guests leave having had a great time. As a small, high energy team, we don't run single lane roles. The ParTender is our bartender, host, food runner, and closer, all in one. You'll build relationships with guests from the moment they walk in the door until the moment they leave, and take ownership of whatever the shift needs, behind the bar, on the floor, or around the bays. This is primarily a bartending position, cross trained in light food service, simulator support, and overall guest experience so our small team can work fluidly across the entire venue.
Compensation :
$12.00 per hour plus tips. ParTenders participate in Partee Golf's shared tip pooling system when multiple bartenders are working.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Bar & Beverage Prepare and serve drink orders including cocktails, beer, and wine accurately and consistently, following recipes and measuring standards. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar, coolers, glassware, tools, and surrounding service areas, and promptly report any equipment issues to management. Prepare fresh garnishes and keep the bar stocked with ice, glassware, and paper supplies. Requisition and restock liquor and bar supplies, transporting items from storage as needed. Stay current on beverage trends and help shape drink offerings and seasonal specials. Follow all responsible alcohol service laws and procedures, including checking ID, monitoring consumption, and honoring last call, and obtain and maintain any required Tennessee alcohol server permits. Food & Kitchen Support Prepare and plate designated ParTee Cart and light food menu items when a cook is not on duty, following recipe, portion, and presentation standards. Assist with running and serving food when a cook is on duty. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, practicing clean as you go procedures at all times. Monitor food and bar inventory, flag shortages, and assist with inventory counts and restocking as needed. Keep prep and storage areas clean, organized, and properly labeled. Guest & Bay Experience Welcome and check in guests, help orient first time guests to their bay and the TrackMan simulator basics. Training is provided and no golf experience is required. Run food and drinks to bays, bus and reset tables and bays promptly between guest groups. Anticipate guest needs, answer questions, and resolve concerns promptly and professionally. Help host birthday parties, corporate events, leagues, and group outings, coordinating with guests on timing and needs. Engage guests in conversation and create the fun, social atmosphere Partee Golf is known for. Cash Handling Accurately process all payment methods including cash, card, and tabs in accordance with company procedures. Count and reconcile the cash bank at the end of assigned shifts, report or resolve discrepancies as appropriate, and secure receipts. Follow company cash control and audit standards at all times. Opening & Closing Complete opening duties including stocking and setting up the bar, bays, and dining areas ahead of business. Complete closing duties including breaking down and storing goods, cleaning equipment and surfaces, securing liquor and storage areas, restocking for the next shift, and completing the daily closing checklist. Turn off equipment and lights and lock up according to venue procedures when assigned closing responsibilities. Safety, Security & Compliance Follow all local, state, and federal alcohol and food safety regulations. Report accidents, injuries, or hazards to management immediately. Use proper equipment and lifting techniques and wear PPE where required to avoid injury. Maintain a clean, safe, and secure environment for guests and teammates.
REQUIREMENTS
Prior bartending, serving, or restaurant or hospitality experience preferred. Working knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine and comfort learning new drink offerings. Comfortable multitasking across bar, food, guest service, and simulator bay duties in a small, fast paced team. Genuine interest in golf, entertainment, and guest service is a plus. Simulator and product training is provided. Friendly, attentive, guest first attitude with strong communication skills. Must meet Tennessee's minimum age requirement to serve alcohol and obtain and maintain a valid Tennessee TABC Server Permit and any required food safety certification. Must have flexible availability, with evening and weekend availability strongly preferred. Availability for holidays, special events, and other peak periods may be required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Stand, walk, bend, and reach for the duration of a shift. Move, lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 25 to 50 lbs. Work comfortably around bar, kitchen, and simulator or golf equipment. Navigate the venue floor safely, including around bays and seating areas.
