Security/Barback Ad Now Hiring - Door Staff & Barbacks
for a south Austin Neighborhood Bar | Nights & Weekends We're a busy neighborhood bar looking to add reliable people to our team for two separate positions: Door Staff Responsibilities include: Checking IDs Monitoring capacity and guest behavior Maintaining a safe, professional atmosphere Handling difficult situations calmly and respectfully Communicating with staff and management throughout the night Ideal candidates are dependable, observant, professional under pressure, and comfortable dealing with intoxicated patrons while keeping things friendly and under control.
Barback Responsibilities include:
Stocking beer, liquor, ice, and supplies Bussing glassware and keeping the bar clean Assisting bartenders during busy shifts Changing kegs and handling heavy lifting Helping keep service fast and organized Ideal candidates work quickly, stay busy without being asked, and understand how to support a fast-paced bar team. Requirements Weekend and evening availability Reliable transportation Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to lift 50+ lbs for barback duties Positive attitude and strong work ethic Bar, restaurant, hospitality, or security experience preferred but not required Compensation based on position.
