Job Description
We are looking for an energetic & fun bartender to join our team at our friendly neighborhood bar! Our team is professional, hardworking and charismatic. If you are a proactive team player with a strong work ethic and are detail-oriented with a passion to be the best in the industry, we would love to welcome you to our team!
We offer an extensive selection of spirits and cocktails from our full bar paired with a small but delicious food menu of pizzas, burgers, and other pub fare. As a member of our staff, you'll get to interact with our friendly regulars and other neighborhood people while providing exceptional customer service in a relaxed atmosphere. As a bartender at Remedy, you will act as an ambassador of the bar and the ownership team, and you must provide friendly service, possess a sense of urgency, and maintain great communication skills.
Experience with Toast POSExperience making & designing craft cocktailsExperience completing bar inventory and able to notify when low on stock if applicableMinimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
Minimum of 2-year of bartending experience requiredStrong verbal and written communication skills are requiredExcellent customer service and people skills requiredActive TABC and ServSafe certification requiredHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferredAbility to stay calm and work efficiently under pressureAbility to prioritize job duties and manage time effectively
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Welcome each guest and employ a positive tone and friendly body language at all timesInput drink orders into the POS system immediately after the drink has been made, collecting payment from guests for drinks servedResponsibly serve alcohol and be aware of guests limits and states of intoxicationServe food and beverages to restaurant guests in a timely fashion ensuring excellent service and guest satisfaction every timeAnticipate guests needs and be proactive in serving guests and upselling food and drinksComplete all necessary set up, side work, opening and closing duties as assignedCheck bar before, after and during shift for cleanliness and remedy any issuesCommunicate with other staff and management regarding the needs of the guestOther duties as assignedDesired Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):Experience with Toast POSExperience making & designing craft cocktailsExperience completing bar inventory and able to notify when low on stock if applicableMinimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
