MAIN DUTIES
The Minibar Attendant is responsible for managing and maintaining the in-room minibar program to ensure a seamless, accurate, and elevated guest experience. This role focuses on inventory control, cleanliness, accuracy of charges, and attentive guest service while upholding the luxury standards and service culture of 1 Hotels. GENERAL DUTIES
Inventory in-room minibars, accessories, and promotional materials, replenishing items as needed Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of each minibar according to brand standards Utilize handheld devices and minibar software to accurately record inventory and sales Monitor product availability, expiration dates, and stock levels to prevent shortages or expired items Prepare and organize minibar restocking carts prior to service rounds Transport carts efficiently to assigned floors and guest rooms scheduled for minibar service Ensure accurate posting of minibar charges to guest folios in accordance with hotel procedures Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests related to minibar items or inquiries Communicate discrepancies, maintenance issues, or operational concerns to management in a timely manner Coordinate with Housekeeping and Front Office teams to ensure rooms are ready for minibar service Handle minibar products and hotel assets with care to prevent loss or damage Maintain accurate records and documentation related to minibar operations Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; properly store flammable materials Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and standards with self and colleagues Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information Embody the 1 Hotels Vision, Mission and Compass; deliver on Our Promise, provide Good-Natured Service and uphold our Brand Pillars Perform other reasonable job-related duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Previous hospitality, minibar, housekeeping, or inventory experience preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly with inventory and financial postings Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld devices and inventory software Excellent guest service and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds throughout the shift Ability to maneuver carts and work in confined spaces, including guest rooms and service corridors Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as business needs require Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees are required to work varying schedules, including holidays, to accommodate the business and demands of the hotel This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position.
