Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender / barbackto join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating and serving beverages, maintaining the bar area, and ensuring an enjoyable experience for all guests. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Engage with customers, providing friendly and attentive service while taking drink orders. Operate Square POS for order entry and payment processing. Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly, adhering to all legal regulations regarding alcohol service. Assist with inventory management, including tracking stock levels and placing orders as needed. Assist with cleaning restrooms, tables, and all bar areas on a daily basis Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of bar items when applicable. Uphold food safety standards and practices in accordance with health regulations. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Skills Proficiency in Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is preferred. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours. Excellent sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively. Previous fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Solid understanding of food safety practices and food handling procedures. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and inventory management. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Experience in catering or banquet settings is advantageous. Knowledge of brewing techniques is beneficial for crafting specialty drinks. Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in inventory management within the food industry.
