- Part-time Whitestone Brewery is seeking an energetic, professional, and experienced bartender to join our team!
This position includes Wednesday and Thursday evening shifts, plus rotating Friday and Saturday shifts (opening, mid, and closing). We are a small team looking for someone who is dependable, self-motivated, and passionate about providing an outstanding customer experience. The ideal candidate is friendly, engaging, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable about craft beer. You should be comfortable working independently at times while also being a strong team player. Responsibilities Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service Learn guests' preferences and recommend beers and menu items Answer questions about our beers, brewery, and events Inform customers about new beer releases, upcoming events, membership benefits, and brewery news Upsell beverages, merchandise, and other offerings Verify identification and ensure compliance with alcohol service laws Process cash and credit card transactions accurately Balance and close the cash register at the end of shifts Restock inventory, including cans, crowlers, towels, and other supplies Change and move kegs as needed Maintain cleanliness throughout the taproom, including tables, bathrooms, glassware, equipment, and service areas Assist with opening and closing duties Manage the taproom independently when needed Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older Minimum of 3 years of bartending experience required Craft beer experience or knowledge preferred Current TABC Seller-Server Certification required High school diploma or equivalent Availability to work evenings and weekends Strong communication and customer service skills Basic math and computer proficiency Excellent time management and multitasking abilities Positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to work effectively in a small, fast-paced team environment Ability to stand, walk, bend, and remain active for extended periods Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds If you love craft beer, enjoy connecting with people, and thrive in a fast-paced taproom environment, we'd love to hear from you!
