As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with patrons, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires a blend of creativity, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards. Engage with customers to provide excellent service, take orders, and offer recommendations based on preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning countertops. Monitor inventory levels of supplies and ingredients, restocking as needed to ensure smooth operations. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food safety protocols. Assist in catering events or banquets as required, showcasing versatility in service delivery. Operate Aloha POS system for order processing and payment transactions efficiently. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items alongside beverages. Qualifications Proven experience in bartending or food service within the hospitality industry is preferred. Knowledge of brewing techniques and beverage preparation is a plus. Familiarity with retail math for managing cash transactions effectively. Strong understanding of food safety practices to maintain high standards of hygiene. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage customers positively. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
