We are looking for someone who leads behind the bar, creates order in high-volume moments, engages guests with warmth and professionalism, supports their teammates without ego, and helps deliver an unforgettable guest experience every shift. Position Summary Bartenders at Harvest House are responsible for delivering exceptional service while efficiently serving high-quality beverages in a fast-paced live music environment. This role is about more than making drinks - it is about creating an atmosphere where guests feel welcomed, artists feel supported, and the energy of the venue thrives. The ideal candidate can balance speed with attentiveness, stay calm during high-volume shifts, and contribute positively to both the guest experience and team culture. Core Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, genuine service Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all guests Maintain strong product knowledge of beer, cocktails, spirits, and menu offerings Help guide guests through drink selections and recommendations Deliver fast, accurate service while maintaining quality Engage with guests professionally while maintaining awareness of service needs Help create the positive, community-driven atmosphere Harvest House is known for Bartending Duties Prepare cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages consistently and efficiently Maintain cleanliness and organization behind the bar at all times Restock beer, liquor, garnishes, ice, glassware, and supplies throughout shifts Operate POS system accurately and responsibly Handle cash and payments according to company procedures Monitor guest intoxication levels and uphold TABC laws Assist with opening, closing, and side work responsibilities Work collaboratively with barbacks, managers, kitchen staff, and door staff Qualifications Previous bartending experience required Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Positive attitude and strong work ethic Weekend and evening availability required TABC Certification required Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs If you are passionate about bartending, music, community, and creating meaningful guest experiences, we'd love to meet you.
