Briggs Distilling Co. is a new, family-owned and operated craft distillery built on a love of whiskey, community, and hospitality. Nestled in the Texas Hill Country, we are more than just a tasting room. We aim to be a place for people to gather, listen to some live music, and learn about our whiskey, which we are so passionate about. As we grow, we're looking for a bartender who s excited to grow with us.

As we grow, we re looking for a Lead Bartender who is excited to grow with us and help shape the culture, service standards, and guest experience of our distillery from the ground up.

About the
Role:
The Lead Bartender serves as a key leader on the tasting room team, setting the standard for hospitality, beverage quality, cleanliness, product knowledge, and day-to-day bar operations.

You should have a strong foundation in craft cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer, along with excellent time management, communication, and leadership skills. Most importantly, you should genuinely enjoy taking care of people and sharing your knowledge with guests.
Responsibilities:
Monitoring inventory levels and creating ordering listsCreate and maintain the weekly bartender schedule, balancing business needs, staffing levels, and team availabilityMaintaining a clean, organized, and inviting bar spaceAccurately handling electronic transactionsMaking timely beveragesCreate a warm, welcoming experience for every guest who walks through our doorsServe our handcrafted spirits with knowledge, enthusiasm, and prideSupport tastings, tours, and special events as needed
Requirements:
TABC and Texas Food Handler's certificates2+ years of bar management or team leadershipFriendly and welcoming personalityCreative nature and desire to work hard and have funAbility to work in a volume bar while maintaining upscale serviceSolid foundation of traditional cocktails, beer, wine, and spiritsWhy Join Us?
