$12.00 per hour plus tips Job description: Job Summary We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bar Staff member, you will be responsible for serving beverages, maintaining the bar area, and ensuring a positive experience for our guests. Compensation includes tips. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Operate cash registers and POS systems accurately to process transactions. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations as needed. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Assist in setting up for events such as banquets or private parties, ensuring all supplies are stocked and ready for service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders to guests. Skills Proficient in operating cash registers and POS systems. Knowledge of food safety practices within the food industry. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Experience in banquet service or restaurant environments is preferred. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests. Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change accurately.
