Job Summary:
- We are seeking a skilled server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the hospitality industry and possess excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve beverages to customers following standard recipes
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Check customers' identification and confirm legal drinking age
- Monitor inventory levels and restock bar supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely drink service
Requirements:
- Previous 2 years experience in server role or similar position
- Knowledge of various beverages and cocktail recipes
- Proficiency in using POS systems, preferably Aloha POS
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service
- Sales skills to upsell drinks and promote specials
