Job Description

Job Overview Join our vibrant winery team as a Winery Bartender and Vineyard Assistant, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create memorable experiences for our guests while supporting the daily operations of our vineyard and tasting room. In this dynamic role, you'll serve exceptional wines, provide outstanding customer service, and assist with vineyard maintenance and wine production activities. This paid position offers a unique opportunity to blend hospitality with hands-on vineyard work, all within a lively, mellow to fast-paced environment that celebrates the art of winemaking. Responsibilities Welcome guests with a friendly, energetic attitude, guiding them through wine tastings and menu options in our tasting room or event spaces Serve wine and beverages efficiently using POS systems, ensuring accurate cash handling and sales transactions Maintain excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, providing detailed product knowledge, and creating a welcoming atmosphere Assist with vineyard tasks including pruning, harvesting, watering, and general maintenance to support healthy grape growth Ensure food safety standards are upheld during food handling and serving processes, especially during events like banquets or catering functions Manage time effectively to handle multiple responsibilities during busy periods, including serving at nightclub events or private functions Support food service operations by assisting with setup, cleanup, and ensuring cleanliness in all areas of the tasting room and vineyard facilities Social Media posting, help boosting social media engagement and contribute with short videos, aesthetic photos, and well crafted posts. Experience Previous restaurant or food industry experience with a focus on hospitality or fine dining settings is highly desirable Experience working in retail math, cash handling, or cashiering using POS systems Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques Background in catering, banquet service, or nightclub event support is a plus Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods Familiarity with the wine industry, brewing processes, or vineyard work is advantageous but not required Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally TABC Certification required This role is perfect for hard working, energetic individuals passionate about hospitality and wine who thrive in lively and outdoor environments. $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
