Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Engage with guests warmly, taking orders, offering recommendations, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and food handling standards. Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering, basic math calculations, and processing payments swiftly and accurately. Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and communicate needs to management to ensure smooth service flow. Uphold responsible serving practices by checking IDs, recognizing intoxication signs, and adhering to alcohol service regulations. Collaborate with team members during busy periods such as nightclubs or banquet events to deliver seamless service experiences. Skills Proven experience as a bartender in food service background is highly valued. Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for diverse guests. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol serving regulations. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math applications, and accurate billing. Experience with brewing or beverage preparation techniques is a plus for enhancing drink offerings.
