All the recipes are hand crafted to nourish and support our health in different ways. You can also find CCJC at Houston's best farmers markets.

Job Summary:

CCJC is looking for a candidate that has a passion for health, wellness and nutrition! The ideal candidate is comfortable working both locations and at farmers markets and pop-up events. The ideal candidate brings positive energy and is detail-oriented, efficient and a team player. The candidate understands the added responsibility that restaurants in the health and wellness industry carry when it comes to meeting guests' dietary needs and goals. The candidate is expected to demonstrate a strong understanding of the menu and offerings and be able to communicate nutritional information to guests and team members. Please make sure previous food service and/or healthy cafe experience including place of employment, job title, job duties and dates of employment are included in resume. The Downtown shop is open 8am-8pm Monday through Saturdays and the Heights shop is open M/W-Saturday 8am-7pm and Sunday 9am-5pm. CCJC also has pop up events on Saturdays and Sundays. This position has the opportunity to grow into a leadership role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Operating juicers and blenders to make cold-pressed juice and fresh smoothies Making smoothie bowls, avocado toast, chicken wraps and more Food prep Washing juicers, blenders and other equipment Taking and preparing customer orders Labeling juice bottles Cleaning and organizing work area Opening and/or closing cafe Setting up/breaking down booth at farmers markets Selling and representing the brand at farmers markets Providing excellent customer service Answering questions regarding the menu Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities 1 Year of experience in the restaurant industry is required High school diploma is required Food Handler card provided prior to employment 1 Year of experience in the juice bar or healthy cafe industry is preferred 1 Year of experience as a barista is preferred Driver's license and vehicle is preferred Extended periods of standing (4-12 hours) Reaching, bending, and lifting a minimum of 50 pounds. Excellent communication skills Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills. Experience multi-Tasking and working in a fast paced environment. Team player Strong attention to detail Interest in or willingness to learn about general nutrition information and benefits of different ingredients and recipes Interest in or willingness to learn about healthy lifestyles
