Overview Join our dynamic team as a Barback and Bartender, where your energy and hospitality skills will create memorable experiences for our guests. In this lively role, you'll be the backbone of the bar operation, ensuring a smooth flow of service by maintaining cleanliness, restocking supplies, and assisting bartenders with food and beverage preparation. Duties Support bartenders by preparing garnishes, mixing ingredients, and assisting with drink assembly to ensure quick service during busy hours Maintain cleanliness of bar area, including wiping down surfaces, washing glassware, and sanitizing equipment to uphold health standards Restock bar supplies such as liquor bottles, mixers, napkins, straws, and utensils to keep the bar fully equipped for service Buss tables and clear empty glasses or dishes from dining areas to maintain a tidy environment for guests Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing fruits or assembling simple snacks for patrons when needed Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and handle cash or card transactions responsibly Support catering or banquet events by setting up stations, serving beverages, and ensuring guest needs are promptly met Experience Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality roles is highly desirable Familiarity with bar operations including barista experience or working in a nightclub setting enhances your ability to excel in this role Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and cleaning procedures is essential for maintaining hygiene standards Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred for efficient transaction processing Strong communication skills are vital for collaborating with team members and providing excellent customer service Prior banquet or catering experience can be an asset in supporting special events and large gatherings Demonstrated ability to multitask in fast-paced environments while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their career in the vibrant hospitality industry.
