Bartender Lumos/Embers Grill - Bartender Lumos is not your typical restaurant or bar. We are a high-energy family entertainment venue featuring our Ember's Grill restaurant, bowling lanes, axe throwing, arcade attractions, events, a full-service bar, patio bar, and more. Our Bartenders play a key role in creating a memorable experience for every guest. We are looking for upbeat, energetic, friendly people who thrive in a fast-paced environment and understand that bartending is more than making drinks — it is creating moments. As a Bartender, you will provide bar service for Ember's Grill. This role requires strong drink knowledge, multitasking skills, attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to move quickly while staying professional and welcoming. What Makes This Role Different Bartending at Lumos means supporting guests who may be dining, bowling, celebrating, attending events, or enjoying a full day of entertainment. Our bartenders must be adaptable, aware, and able to deliver consistent service across multiple areas of the venue. The expectations are high because our bartenders help set the tone for the full Lumos experience. We are looking for team members who are fast, friendly, guest-focused, and proud to be part of a fun, high-energy environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages quickly, accurately, and consistently. Provide friendly, attentive, and efficient service to guests at the bar and throughout guest service areas. Greet guests with enthusiasm and create a welcoming experience from the first interaction. Follow all drink recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines. Safely serve alcoholic beverages while following all TABC guidelines, ID verification procedures, and company alcohol policies. Maintain strong knowledge of the drink menu, food menu, daily offerings, and venue attractions. Support servers with service bar tickets during high-volume periods. Support birthday parties, group events, corporate outings, and high-volume guest flow as needed. Communicate clearly with restaurant staff as well as the amusement staff and management teams. Keep the bar clean, organized, stocked, and ready for service. Handle guest concerns professionally and involve management when needed. Work with urgency during peak times while staying calm, positive, and guest-focused. Support teammates and help create a strong team environment. Follow all food safety, sanitation, alcohol service, and company standards. What We Are Looking For At least 1 year of bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar is required. Experience in family entertainment, bowling centers, event venues, or high-volume hospitality environments is a plus. Must be naturally upbeat, energetic, friendly, and comfortable engaging with guests. Must be able to work in a loud, fast-paced, high-energy environment. Strong multitasking and communication skills are required. Must be dependable, professional, and team-oriented. Must be comfortable serving multiple types of guest experiences, including bar service, dining, bowling lanes, axe throwing bays, birthdays, and events. Must have or be able to obtain a valid TABC certification. Must have or be able to obtain a valid Food Handler certification. Availability Requirements Must be available to work weekends and holidays . Open availability preferred during the summer season.
