Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Busser/Barback, where you'll be the backbone of a lively and welcoming environment. In this energetic role, you'll support bartenders and servers by maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient venue. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create an exceptional experience for every guest, ensuring the bar and dining areas are spotless, well-stocked, and ready for action. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service, beverage handling, and customer interaction within a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Clear and buss tables promptly to maintain a clean and inviting dining environment Assist bartenders by restocking bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages efficiently Clean bar surfaces, sinks, and equipment regularly to ensure compliance with food safety standards Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies and moving furniture or equipment safely Support food preparation activities when needed, including basic garnishing or plating assistance Maintain cleanliness of the venue's beverage service areas, including bar counters and storage spaces Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and guest needs Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key Familiarity with bar operations, POS systems (like Micros POS), or banquet/catering experience is a plus Strong communication skills to interact confidently with team members and guests Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and inventory counts accurately Knowledge of food industry safety standards and bar safety compliance practices Physical stamina for prolonged standing, manual handling tasks, and heavy lifting throughout shifts Experience working in high-volume venues or with food preparation is advantageous Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering memorable experiences!
