Bartender

Job Summary Our Elks Lodge is looking for a fun, reliable, and energetic bartender to join our team! Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using a POS system. Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote sales. Manage multiple tables or bar stations while maintaining excellent time management to ensure prompt service. Handle cash transactions accurately through POS and cashiering procedures, including food safety and food handling protocols. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards. Assist with catering, banquet, or nightclub events by serving drinks and managing guest requests seamlessly. Monitor guest behavior to uphold safety standards and coordinate with Lodge leadership when necessary. Experience Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially within fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings. Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems such as Clover POS is desirable. Strong knowledge of food handling, food safety regulations, and responsible alcohol service practices. Experience in retail math or basic math skills to handle cash handling accurately. Familiarity with hospitality environments including brewing or food industry settings is a plus. Excellent customer service skills combined with effective time management to handle busy service periods confidently.
