Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills, creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing the bar area, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working with people. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and other supplies; assist in ordering as needed. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and making recommendations. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including food safety standards. Handle cash transactions accurately using Aloha POS or similar systems. Assist in setting up for special events or banquets as required. Stay updated on drink trends and new beverage offerings. Experience Previous experience in a bartending or food service role is preferred. Strong knowledge of retail math and basic math skills to manage transactions effectively. Familiarity with food safety practices to ensure a safe dining experience for guests. Experience with brewing techniques is a plus for establishments that offer craft beers or specialty drinks. Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of fine dining service standards is advantageous for upscale venues.
