In this role, you will craft and serve a variety of cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages while providing exceptional customer service. Your expertise in beverage preparation, combined with your ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, will contribute to a lively and welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and presentation standards. Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to ensure they feel valued and appreciated throughout their visit. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations. Develop new beverage recipes and enhance existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting. Monitor inventory levels of spirits, beer, wine, mixers, and garnishes; assist with stock replenishment as needed. Handle cash transactions with precision using basic math skills; process payments promptly while providing accurate change. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods or special events like banquets or catering functions. Uphold high standards of hospitality industry experience by delivering excellent customer service consistently. Assist in bar management duties when required, including training new team members or overseeing daily operations. Experience Proven experience working as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment. Extensive knowledge of spirits, cocktail mixing techniques (mixology), wine varieties, craft beers, and beverage recipe development. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions smoothly. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Previous food service experience including banquet or catering settings is highly desirable. Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism. Experience working in fine dining establishments or upscale hospitality venues is a plus. Basic math proficiency for cash handling and retail math calculations related to sales transactions.
