Position Overview We are hiring Barbacks and Security Team Members who are reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented. These roles are essential to keeping operations running smoothly, supporting bartenders, and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for our guests. Barback Responsibilities Keep the bar fully stocked (liquor, beer, ice, glassware, garnishes) Assist bartenders with service to ensure speed and quality Maintain cleanliness and organization of all bar areas Change kegs and restock coolers as needed Remove trash and keep work areas clean throughout the shift Anticipate bartender needs and stay one step ahead during peak hours Support opening and closing duties Security Responsibilities Check IDs and ensure all guests meet age requirements Monitor guest behavior and maintain a safe, controlled environment De-escalate conflicts professionally and calmly Enforce house rules and company policies Work closely with management on any incidents or concerns Maintain strong awareness of surroundings at all times Provide a welcoming but firm presence at entry points and throughout the venue What We're Looking For Strong work ethic and ability to move with urgency Team-first mentality (no egos, no shortcuts) Ability to work nights, weekends, and high-volume events Clear communication and professionalism under pressure For security: prior experience is preferred but not required For barbacks: hospitality or bar experience is a plus but not required Physical Requirements Ability to stand for long periods (6-10 hours) Lift up to 50 lbs (kegs, cases of beer, etc.) Work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Why Work With Us High-energy, team-driven culture Opportunity for growth within the company Flexible scheduling Be part of a brand that values its people and promotes from within How to Apply Submit your application through Indeed or apply in person at McIntyre's North Star location.
