Duties Prepare and serve a variety of craft cocktails and beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and provide exceptional customer service that enhances their experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, tools, and supplies, adhering to food safety standards. Manage cash handling and POS transactions efficiently using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; restock as needed to ensure smooth operations. Uphold responsible serving practices by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication to promote guest safety. Collaborate with team members to support barback duties such as restocking supplies, cleaning bar stations, and assisting during busy periods. Follow all food handling regulations and safety protocols to maintain a safe environment for staff and guests. Experience Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to serve in high-volume environments while maintaining excellent customer service skills. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol serving practices. Experience working in the food industry with a focus on hospitality, catering, or retail math calculations for sales transactions. Ability to manage time effectively during peak hours while multitasking between drink preparation and guest engagement. Previous experience in brewing or food handling is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
