Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Seat guests and manage the seating rotation to ensure efficient use of tables
• Take reservations and maintain an organized reservation book
• Provide menus to guests and answer any questions regarding menu items
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system
• Process payments, issue receipts, and handle cash transactions
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests with patience and professionalism

Experience:

• Previous experience as a host or cashier in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred
• Familiarity with Aloha POS system or similar software is a plus
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures is desirable
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately
