Bartender

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team! Duties Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that enhances their experience. Manage bar inventory, restocking supplies as needed and ensuring proper food safety and food handling protocols are followed. Handle cash transactions with precision, utilizing retail math and basic math skills for accurate cashiering and cash handling. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and sanitation procedures. Take orders for food and beverages in catering, banquet, or nightclub settings, coordinating with kitchen staff to ensure timely service. Demonstrate strong time management skills by balancing multiple orders during busy periods while maintaining quality service. Assist in training new team members on POS systems, serving techniques, and safety procedures. Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender in restaurant, fine dining, nightclub, or banquet environments preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally. Strong knowledge of food safety standards, food handling practices, and alcohol regulations. Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling and retail math accuracy. Experience in beverage preparation including brewing techniques is a plus. Previous retail math or hospitality experience is beneficial for managing sales and transactions efficiently.
