Server/Bartender

POSITION SUMMARY

The Servers/Bartenders main responsibility is to focus on the "Guest Centric" service model of Fuzzy's Taco Shop and NGE. They are required to be engaged throughout the ordering process, payment, transaction, and building of guest beverages. Bartenders play a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment and guests have great experience. Like all other positions at the restaurant they must comply with all company policies and guidelines.

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

Ø Minimum age required to serve alcohol Ø Must have a current Food Handlers and TABC certification issued by the State of Texas Ø Must have full knowledge of the food, beverage and dessert menu and be able to answer customer's questions Ø Must know the ingredients and methods of preparation of all items served at Fuzzy's Taco Shop Ø Must have multi-tasking abilities Ø Must have good attitude Ø Must have a pleasant personality Ø Able to work early mornings, afternoons, and weekends Ø Must be a team player Ø Must be 18 years old

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Show up ready for work (clean and in full uniform) at the time schedule
• Maintain your personal appearance in accordance with restaurant grooming standards.
• Greet EVERY guest entering the establishments in a timely manner, with a warm, friendly and inviting demeanor
• Correctly take orders using the appropriate POS systems
• Recommend (upselling) items with every order to increase store profits.
• Receive payment by cash, credit cards, reward app, gift card or management specified vouchers
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to guests.
• Issue and redeem gifts cards, coupons or other promotional incentives
• Maintain the organization and stocking of products, and cleanliness of the Front of the House in its entirety
• Ensure all bar drinks are made promptly, efficiently, and incentives.
• Provide great bar service to all bar-seated guests, upselling appetizers and other menu items, and following up with any service needs.
• Manage tabs and bar safety for all guests
• Manage correct supply of batches, backups, garnishes, and stocked inventory
• Ensure a front of house atmosphere that aligns with Fuzzy's Taco Shop and NGE Values and Purpose.

Order Accuracy:

Verify that each order is complete and accurate before it leaves the kitchen. This includes checking for special requests or dietary restrictions.

Expediting:

Organize and prioritize orders to ensure timely delivery to the bar.

Control:

Inspect dishes for presentation and quality, ensuring they meet the restaurant's standards before serving.

Safety Standards:

Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards, such as proper temperature and hygiene.

• Remove dishes, trash and glassware from guest tables throughout the guest experience as needed
• After guests leave, sanitize and reset tables with appropriate tableware according to the allotted time specification according to Service Standards.

Customer Interaction:

Check in with customers to ensure their dining experience is satisfactory and address any additional requests.

Cleanliness:

Help maintain a clean dining environment by removing dirty dishes and utensils from guest tables

• Show flexibility in terms of your schedule to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Mental Demands:

Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and written), interpret reason, read, understand verbal instructions, analyze, differentiate, memorize, coordinate, compile, instruct, and maintain emotional control.
