Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks based on their tastes and current trends. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems; handle cash, credit cards, and other payment methods efficiently. Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service during busy hours while managing multiple tables or bar stations. Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication to ensure guest safety. Requirements Proven experience as a bartender with strong cocktail mixing skills; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable. Knowledge of POS systems for processing transactions accurately. Demonstrated ability in beverage recipe development and mixology techniques. Solid understanding of wine knowledge, spirits, craft beer trends, and beverage presentation standards. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism under pressure. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math calculations, and food industry procedures. Food safety certification or knowledge of food handling practices Hospitality industry experience including food service or restaurant roles is advantageous.
