Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Locator to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an exceptional experience by efficiently managing the flow of service within our establishment. This position requires a strong background in customer service and food handling, with a focus on fine dining and banquet experiences. Duties Utilize Aloha POS and Micros POS systems to manage orders and transactions effectively. Ensure timely service by coordinating with kitchen staff and servers to maintain a smooth workflow. Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly. Maintain food safety standards while handling and serving food to guests. Assist in cashiering duties, including cash handling and processing payments accurately. Support banquet and catering events by setting up, serving, and breaking down as needed. Utilize basic math skills for retail math calculations related to sales and inventory management. Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests in both restaurant and nightclub settings. Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization in all areas of food service. Experience Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in fine dining or banquet settings, is preferred. Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is highly desirable. Strong time management skills to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Proven sales skills with an emphasis on upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction. Experience in food handling and knowledge of food safety regulations is essential. Background in hospitality, including serving, brewing, or cashiering roles, will be beneficial. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and inventory tasks.
