Ice Haus Compensation Pay Rate:

$9.00 per hour, plus tip share.

Note:

Tip share typically results in significantly higher effective hourly earnings. The Role The Barback plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficient flow and high standard of service at Ice Haus. This position is the backbone of the bar team, directly supporting the Bartenders to ensure a seamless and positive experience for all guests .

Key Responsibilities Bar Flow Assistance:

Directly assist Bartenders with the flow of the bar during service, anticipating needs and addressing operational tasks immediately.

Glassware Management:

Collect, clear, wash, and polish all glassware, ensuring a constant supply of clean inventory is available for immediate use.

Stocking and Preparation:

Proactively stock and replenish all essential items, including beer, ice, garnishes, napkins, and straws.

Order Fulfillment Support:

Assist the team by taking and accurately fulfilling simple orders or running drinks to the guests as needed.

Liquor Maintenance:

Monitor liquor bottle levels, promptly replace empty bottles, organize the well and back bar, and manage the BERG pouring systems, including changing the required BERG tops per Utah state law.

Cleanliness and Waste Management:

Maintain a clean and organized work area, which includes taking out trash, cardboard, and emptying slop buckets as required.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements Physical Stamina:

Must have the ability to lift at least 35 pounds and be able to stand and move for extended periods during shifts.

Prior Experience:

Previous bar, restaurant, or high-volume hospitality experience is strongly preferred. Certifications (Required): Valid Food Handler's Permit. Valid Utah On-Premise Alcohol Server Certification (Sips & Tips).

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a fast-paced team.
