Overview Join our dynamic team as a Barback and be the essential backbone behind a lively, welcoming bar environment! In this energetic role, you'll support bartenders and staff by ensuring the bar area remains clean, stocked, and organized, enabling smooth service and an exceptional guest experience. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a vibrant atmosphere where guests feel valued and cared for. Duties Restock bar supplies including glassware, ice, garnishes, liquor, and mixers swiftly to keep the bar fully prepared for service. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area by cleaning glasses, utensils, bar tools, and surfaces regularly. Assist with bussing tables and clearing empty dishes to ensure a tidy dining environment. Support bartenders with inputting all carry out ordering both over the phone and on our delivery tablets. Help with food prep tasks like slicing fruit or preparing simple garnishes to streamline service. Ensure proper food handling and sanitation standards are followed at all times in accordance with food safety regulations. Handle basic cash handling duties when necessary and assist with order taking using Square POS. Requirements Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Strong communication skills and friendly in-person customer service abilities to engage guests positively Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or cleaning equipment Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices Experience with POS systems is a plus but training will be provided Join us as a vital part of our team where your energy fuels memorable guest experiences!
