Maintain thorough knowledge of beverage recipes, including signature cocktails and current trends in craft beer and wine. Manage cash handling and processing transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS. Ensure all food safety standards are met by adhering to proper food handling procedures and cleanliness protocols. Develop new beverage recipes and contribute ideas for menu updates to keep offerings fresh and exciting. Assist with bar management duties including inventory control, stock replenishment, and maintaining a clean, organized bar area. Collaborate with kitchen staff during service to coordinate food and beverage delivery seamlessly. Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption to promote safety. Experience Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment. Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, and beverage recipe development. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and energetically. Previous food service experience including banquet or catering settings is preferred. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding for inventory management, and food safety compliance knowledge.
