We are seeking a skilled and personable Bartender to join our team at LOCAL Chop & Grill House. The Bartender will be responsible for creating and serving high-quality beverages in a warm, professional manner, while ensuring guests enjoy an outstanding dining experience in our full-service bar area.

Key Responsibilities:

Crafting and Serving Drinks:

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to the restaurant's standards, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits.

Guest Experience:

Provide excellent customer service by interacting with guests, answering drink-related questions, and making recommendations tailored to their preferences.

Bar Maintenance:

Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times. This includes restocking liquor, glassware, garnishes, and other supplies during and after service.

Cash Handling:

Accurately process guest orders, handle payments, and maintain a clean and orderly register area.

Collaboration:

Work closely with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth service and proper communication throughout dinner service.

Compliance:

Adhere to all local health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service.

Upselling:

Use your knowledge of the restaurant's menu and drink offerings to upsell premium spirits, wine pairings, and specialty cocktails.

Problem-Solving:

Address and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally to ensure a positive dining experience.

Qualifications:

2+ years previous bartending experience required, preferably in a full-service or upscale dining environment. Knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, and spirits, with an ability to craft innovative drinks. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to create a friendly, inviting atmosphere. Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments. Must be at least 21 years old (or as required by local laws). Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods. Ability to lift and carry heavy items (such as cases of liquor, ice, and bar supplies). Ability to perform basic cleaning and stocking tasks. Why Join Us?
