Professional Development Role Purpose:
Overall, the role purpose of a bartender is to create a positive and enjoyable experience for guests by providing exceptional customer service, crafting delicious and creative drinks, and maintaining a welcoming and inviting atmosphere at the bar. Bartenders are essential members of the Uptown Alley team, contributing to the overall success and reputation of the establishment.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic and Financial Responsibilities Upselling and Revenue Generation Payment Processing Operational Responsibilities Compliance and Safety Problem Resolution Menu Knowledge Staff Management Training and Development Customer Service Responsibilities Customer Satisfaction Education & Qualifications:
Certifications in food safety and sanitation, such as ServSafe or Safe Food Handling and alcohol training. Highschool or GED equivalent. Physical Stamina and Endurance-ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks in a hot and demanding kitchen environment
Experience:
Bartenders should have prior experience working as bartenders in a restaurant or hospitality setting. They should have a strong understanding of front-of-house operations, including customer service techniques, order taking, and making cocktails. Desirable
  • Previous experience in a high volume restaurant.
