Job Description
Join One of the Highest-Paying Event Catering Teams in the DC Area Looking for a flexible weekend job with excellent earning potential? Market 93 Provisions is seeking energetic, dependable Waitstaff and Bartenders to join our year-round event team. We cater upscale weddings, private events, and corporate gatherings throughout Northern Virginia and the surrounding area. This position is ideal for individuals seeking premium pay per event and the flexibility to choose when they work. What We Offer $385 per event day - among the highest event staff pay rates in the DC region Flexible scheduling - accept the events that fit your availability Opportunity to work at beautiful venues and high-end events Professional, supportive, and team-oriented work environment Open to students (must be at least 18 years old and available on weekends) Position Responsibilities Provide exceptional guest service during weddings and special events Assist with event setup, service, and breakdown Serve food and beverages in a professional manner Bartenders will prepare and serve beverages while following responsible alcohol service practices Maintain a polished appearance and positive attitude throughout the event Requirements Reliable transportation and punctuality Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds on a regular basis Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Prior serving or bartending experience is helpful but not required—we are willing to train the right candidates Schedule Most events take place on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays Typical event days are approximately 12 hours Peak season runs from March-June and September-November Event volume is lighter during the winter months (December through February) and hot summer month (July through August) Important Information This is an event-based position rather than a traditional hourly role. While earnings per event are exceptionally competitive, the number of available events varies throughout the year based on our event calendar. Candidates seeking guaranteed weekly hours should consider this before applying.
