Bartender

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team at Ember Music Hall in a vibrant and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, maintaining the bar area, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. We're looking for skilled and dynamic bartenders who thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and love great music as much as we do! Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages quickly and efficiently according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Manage multiple orders accurately in a high-volume setting. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware and equipment. Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable. Experience Previous bartending experience is required. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety standards is essential. Experience with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous. Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. A background in high-volume establishments is beneficial. Excellent sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively. A genuine passion for hospitality and helping others create memorable experiences. Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Our typical week is operating Thursday-Saturday, with rotating show schedule that could include any weekday. Open night availability is preferred. Required availability at least 2 of the 3: Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Ability to stand for extended periods.
