Vinny's Italian Grill and Pizzeria is currently seeking qualified Servers and Bartenders for an immediate opening in Stafford, VA. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of restaurant/bar experience and familiarity with the standards and best practices of a contemporary food and beverage operation. This job is perfect for someone who is warm and welcoming, has a passion to expand their knowledge of food and beverage, and can develop positive relationships with guests and colleagues. The ideal candidate will work with other team members of the operation to create and maintain a memorable experience for the guests. DUTIES Knowledge of Italian cuisine, wine, craft beers and cocktails and can assist consumers in acquiring beverage selections based on their individual tastes and budget. Handle routine sales transactions which include operating cash register and accounting of daily bar/restaurant sales. Work closely and cooperatively with the Management to maintain a diverse, dynamic, and profitable restaurant. Work with other FOH staff during service periods and promote hospitality and exceptional guest experiences Develop strong relationships with all guests. Represent Vinny's at outside functions if needed. Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

At least 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry and previous experience in Food and Beverage. A curiosity and enthusiasm for food, wine & beer Excellent oral communication skills. Ability to manage priorities and workflow. Professional appearance and demeanor Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm. A strong instinct for hospitality and service; excellent customer service skills Strong organizational skills and effective time-management Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. The desire to expand their knowledge of wine, craft beer, and the hospitality industry
