Responsibilities Check identification of all guests to verify age requirements to purchase alcohol, according to Virginia ABC guidelines, and encourage responsible consumption Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits Manage cash handling and POS transactions accurately using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially during busy nightclub or banquet events Restock bar supplies efficiently during shifts while managing time effectively to meet customer demand Assist in setting up for catering, banquets, or special events, ensuring all food handling and serving protocols are followed Experience Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Experience in catering or banquet environments enhances your ability to handle diverse service scenarios Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and the ability to engage diverse clientele Join us if you're passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality experiences!
