Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Bartender to join us as part of our Team at our high-volume Ri Ra Irish Restaurant & Pub in downtown Burlington, VT! We are particularly looking for a team player that has high volume experience, along with a knowledge of craft cocktails and local and regional beverages. Late night availablity is required. Who You Are You enjoy interacting and generating a high level of connection with guests; with the guest experience always at the forefront of your mind You take pride in your position, from the quality of service and hospitality that you provide, to the product that you are serving You are a "Team Player", considerate to the experience of all guests, as well as the experience of your fellow employees, who often rely on you for help and guidance You have strong organization and communication skills as well as the ability to multi-task You understand "Genuine" hospitality You have a high level of passion for, and strong knowledge of, food and beverage, particularly as related to beer, spirits, cocktails and wine You have experience in a high-volume bar setting You ideally have TIPs alcohol procedures certification, alongside any State or County required license requirements for the service of food and alcohol What You Will be Doing Making food and beverage recommendations to guest to best suit their preferences and personal tastes Serving food and beverage to guests at the bar and surrounding areas, ensuring that the presentation, consistency and timely preparation of all beverages is to the highest possible standards and that match our Company specifications Preparing beverages for guests in Server sections, upholding the same high standards as outlined above Interacting with guests Adhering to all local and state laws regarding the service of alcohol and food; including Steps of Service and alcohol service standards Ensuring that the bar and associated stations / areas, are kept stocked and are maintained in an organized, clean and sanitary manner Ensuring that all set-up and break-down tasks are completed to standard Assisting in representing the brand and business at the local level Having fun!
