Job description About us Our company is a small business in Rutland, VT, being created from the ground up by local owners. Our goal is to bring a new fun restaurant atmosphere to downtown with quick, satifsying Mexican street food and libations with friendly, professional service. Our work environment includes Tips Casual work attire On-the-job training Flexible working hours Lively atmosphere Safe work environment 401K/retirement fund matching Growth opportunities We are currently hiring for a fast paced restaurant and bar, experience is appreciated but not required. Weekends and holiday shifts are required, weekday, evening and lunch shifts also available. We are searching for a person who works well with a team, is willing to work hard, learn new skills, can identify guests' preferences, is friendly and outgoing, and willing to gain experience in all aspects of restaurant service. Candidates should have the "can-do" attitude and a willingness to learn quickly about general service, wine selection, beer brands, cocktails, and the cuisine offered. Responsibilites Provide guests with information on the food menu. Provide guests with general information of the beer, wine and cocktail selection offered. Serve food and drinks to guests. Collect payment for food and drinks. Clear and clean tables. Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
