Responsibilities Take orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems, ensuring smooth transactions and swift service. Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and offering recommendations to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and dining space, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering duties and processing payments promptly. Assist in setting up banquet events or catering functions when needed, ensuring all service details are executed flawlessly. Collaborate with team members to manage busy shifts efficiently through effective time management and teamwork. Experience Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments. Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast is highly desirable. Experience in serving alcohol responsibly and knowledge of food safety protocols is essential. Strong skills in sales, upselling beverages or menu items to maximize guest satisfaction and revenue. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding for sales transactions, and accurate order processing.
