As a lead member of our staff, you won't just be pouring drinks; you will be a key architect of our culture and a primary point of connection for our Issaquah neighbors. The ideal candidate blends expert knowledge of local beer and wine with the organizational skills required to manage inventory, ordering, and daily operations.
Key Responsibilities Bar Operations:
Oversee daily opening and closing procedures, ensuring the bar is pristine, stocked, and ready for service.
Inventory & Ordering:
Manage monthly physical inventory counts. Responsible for ordering beer, wine, and bar supplies while maintaining healthy vendor relationships and cost controls.
Culture & Community:
Collaborate directly with ownership to grow the "soul" of the business. We want someone who enjoys engaging with locals and creating a welcoming, inclusive environment.
Logistics & Supply Management:
Direct monthly physical inventory assessments and handle the procurement of wine, beer, and bar essentials. Maintain strong partnerships with vendors while monitoring cost efficiency.
Community Engagement:
Work alongside the owners to cultivate the establishment's identity, building meaningful connections with local patrons and fostering an inclusive atmosphere.
Offerings Development:
Support the creation of seasonal mocktails and curated snack or small plate pairings that align with our wine shop and kitchen menus.
Regulatory Adherence:
Confirm that all beverage operations comply with safety protocols and Washington state liquor regulations.
Qualifications Minimum Age:
Applicants must be at least 21 years old to legally handle and serve alcohol.
Professional Background:
We highly value candidates with experience in busy bar or restaurant environments.
Expertise:
A deep understanding of regional beer and wine is required; familiarity with bottle shop or retail wine settings is a distinct advantage.
Leadership Qualities:
Excellent interpersonal skills and the capability to lead within a dynamic, new business setting.
Certification:
Must have or be prepared to secure a Food Worker Card and a valid MAST Permit. Benefits of the Role Contribute to the foundation of a new local business from its inception. •

Ensure all service meets Washington state liquor laws and safety standards.
Requirements Age:
Must be 21 years of age or older (required for alcohol service and handling).
Experience:
Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar setting is strongly preferred .
Knowledge:
A solid foundation in local wine and beer.. Experience with wine retail/bottle shop environments is a major plus.
Leadership:
Strong communication skills and the ability to take initiative in a fast-paced "startup" environment.
Permits:
