General Manager Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Bartender to join our opening team at Noii. This role is key to delivering a refined yet inviting bar experience that reflects our philosophy, elevating tradition with modern flair. The ideal candidate combines expert cocktail skills with warm hospitality, thrives in a fast-paced, high-standard environment, and is eager to contribute creatively to our beverage program.
Key Responsibilities:
Craft inspired, balanced cocktails with precision, creativity, and consistency. Provide exceptional guest service at the bar and in the dining room when needed. Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive atmosphere for all guests. Maintain bar cleanliness, organization, and proper setup/breakdown before and after shifts. Ensure accuracy in cash handling, tabs, and POS transactions. Work collaboratively with the kitchen and FOH teams to ensure smooth service flow. Follow all liquor laws, MAST guidelines, and health & safety regulations. Assist with seasonal cocktail development and bar menu updates. Maintain proper stock levels, prepare garnishes, syrups, and other bar ingredients. Anticipate prep needs and restock efficiently to ensure readiness for upcoming shifts. Monitor responsible alcohol service and guest consumption. Participate in tastings, training, and creative sessions.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in a high-volume or upscale dining environment. Strong knowledge of spirits, sake, beer, wine, and classic cocktail techniques. Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure. Passion for mixology, hospitality, and guest engagement. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. MAST Permit and Food Handler's Certification (or ability to obtain before start date).
