Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to proper drink recipes and presentation standards Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods accurately Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning bar areas, and following food safety protocols Assist with food preparation and plating when necessary, supporting kitchen staff to deliver quality dishes promptly Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunities Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on guest relations and customer satisfaction Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order processing and sales transactions Extensive cocktail experience with spirits knowledge and beverage service expertise Ability to manage time effectively in a busy setting while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills for engaging with guests and team members alike Familiarity with food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations in the hospitality industry Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs confidently Knowledge of wine varieties and upselling techniques to enhance guest experiences Prior host/hostess or bussing experience is beneficial for supporting overall restaurant operations Embark on a rewarding journey where your passion for hospitality shines!
