Job Description

Join Geronimo Hospitality Group as a Bartender in our Food & Beverage Operations team. You'll craft elevated cocktails, recommend beverages, and deliver warm, attentive service that reflects our boutique hotels, restaurants, and event venues. Collaborate closely with the bar and culinary teams to showcase local flavors, maintain bar cleanliness and inventory, and uphold safety and compliance standards. Responsibilities Prepare and serve classic and signature cocktails, beer, and wine to guests at the bar and in the dining area Greet guests warmly, provide beverage recommendations, and deliver attentive, personalized service Operate POS systems to enter orders, process payments, and accurately handle cash and credit card transactions Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar, including glassware, garnishes, tools, and supplies Follow all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations, monitoring guest consumption responsibly Collaborate with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth, efficient service Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation, restocking, and reporting low product levels Contribute ideas for seasonal and innovative cocktails that highlight local flavors and spirits Handle guest concerns or complaints professionally and promptly, escalating issues as needed Participate in opening and closing duties, including bar setup, breakdown, and shift reconciliation Required Skills Mixology and cocktail preparation Knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer POS system operation Cash handling and reconciliation Customer service and guest interaction Bar sanitation and food safety practices Inventory and stock management Time management and multitasking Knowledge of responsible alcohol service laws Basic math skills for measurements and transactions
