Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Engage with guests warmly, taking orders and offering recommendations to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations. Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations accurately during transactions. Restock bar supplies, monitor inventory levels, and communicate needs to management promptly. Ensure responsible alcohol service by checking IDs and adhering to legal drinking age regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly. Uphold high standards of customer service by addressing guest inquiries promptly and professionally. Assist in setting up bar areas for special events such as nightclubs or private functions, including catering arrangements. Maintain knowledge of brewing techniques, cocktail recipes, and current beverage trends to offer innovative options. Requirements Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling and retail math accuracy. Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal requirements. Previous retail math or hospitality experience is advantageous; retail or food industry background is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and special event days such as banquets or nighttime club shifts.
