We are looking for a City of Milwaukee licensed, experienced bartender to join the Food & Beverage team at the Ambassador Hotel Milwaukee. This position will work in the hotel's Restaurant & Lounge, Gin Rickey, as well as occasional private event bar tending (on site at the Ambassador). Gin Rickey offers a casual experience with a menu that features hand crafted cocktails with an emphasis on using products from local distilleries and breweries. Operate the POS system (Toast) efficiently to process orders, handle cash transactions and keep a balanced cash drawer. Maintain cleanliness, stocking and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards. Engage with customers to provide excellent service and recommend menu items. Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as needed. Comply with all local and state regulations regarding bartending and alcohol service. Candidates should have a minimum of one year experience as a bartender and must have a valid city of Milwaukee bartender's license. Candidates should be available to work a mix of daytime and evening shifts.
