JOB SUMMARY A
Buck & Honey's Event Bartender takes direction from the Event Lead to address guest's needs in order to provide an excellent dining experience. An Event Bartender delivers the art of hospitality with an enthusiastic and friendly attitude. Additionally, an Event Bartender represents and acts as an ambassador for the Buck & Honey's brand. Our venue is Martinson Hall, located on the 2nd floor of Buck and Honey's Mt. Horeb, with our renowned restaurant below. Events you will work include, but are not limited to: weddings, rehearsal dinners, celebrations of life, showers, anniversary parties, community-related events, etc.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Guest Interactions Knows liquor liability laws, takes steps to visually assure that age identification is legitimate and practices responsible beverage service with all guests. Takes drink orders and delivers drinks to guests when needed. Ensures food and drink items meet guests' satisfaction. Maintains immaculate cleanliness in all areas of the bar area and venue At times delivers food to guests via plated meal services, set up and service of buffets, passed and/or stationary appetizers, and/or maintenance of food stations Act as a teammate to all coworkers. Acts in a positive manner with coworkers, guests, and public. Bussing and Resetting Tables Maintains guests' needs throughout their dining experience by removing dishware and refilling beverages / carafes / dispensers. Removes remaining dishes/glasses from tables, carries a manageable load to the catering kitchen. Housekeeping Participate in sweeping, mopping, silverware, glassware, dish polishing, table setup, buffet setup, and event arrangements as necessary. Completes closing checklist after each shift This job description describes the general nature and scope of responsibilities. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Strong bartending skills required. Event set up/tear down experience desired
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must have strong bartending skills and be able to handle the bar and bar setup by yourself along with helping with other event setup/tear down. Demonstrates active participation in B&H core values. Available to work 8-12 hour shifts, evening and weekend availability mandatory. A valid driver's license is appreciated, but not mandatory. Strong communication, planning, organizing, problem-solving and time management skills. Ability to work cooperatively as a team but can also work independently and pro-actively. Strong guest service skills. Ability to hold oneself accountable for actions, successes, and failures. Ability to be flexible in the work environment and adapt to changing organizational and event needs. Must be 18 years of age or older
WORKING CONDITIONS
Primarily active work, spending hours standing and walking, exerting up to 25-40 lbs. of force. See at a distance (20 feet), at close range (12 inches), distinguish between shape, and utilize peripheral vision to avoid potential hazards. Hear so that verbal communications can be received, understood, and acted upon. Read, write, and perform addition/subtraction calculations. Bend, handle, carry, lift, reach, wipe, climb and stoop. Walk and stand for up to twelve (12) hours. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
